Description yeray alonso 2014-08-18 05:34:03 EDT
Create a new simple BCB/Delphi project.
- Drop a TChart and a TComboBox in the Form.
- Drop a TLabel inside the TChart.
- Click on the TComboBox.
- Click on the TChart. The chart disappears.

Reproduced with TeeChart v2014.11 in BCB XE3, BCB XE4 and BCB XE6.
Reproduced with TeeChart v2014.10 in BCB XE5.
Not reproduced with TeeChart v2013.09 in BCB XE5; so seems to appear from v2014.10.

Reproduced also with TeeChart v2014.11 in Delphi XE6.
Not reproduced with TeeChart v2014.11 in Delphi 7; so seems to be reproducible only in "new" IDEs.

Note: Problem happens at design-time only.
Comment 2 david berneda 2015-05-25 05:35:00 EDT
Note: Same test in FireMonkey works fine. It's a VCL-only issue.

Fixed. Problem was TCustomTeePanel.GetDeviceContext was not calling the inherited ancestor.

Still there's a problem in old ides (Delphi 7), at design-time only, with charts and TeeOpenGL canvas only, clicking and unclicking them.
