Description Shinobu Nagai 2014-02-04 19:15:28 EST
When a CircularGauge series are added to TChart compornent and runs a project at the first time, it's displayed without any problem. However, if saving the application, closing it, reopenning the application, editing the chart at design-time and running it, the edit chart isn't displayed. If deleting the chart and adding it again, it's displayed at that time, but if editing it and running it, the chart disappears.

It happened in WindowsXP, VS 2008, C#. We tested it with both WindowsXP and Windows7, and we could confirm the problems.

To reproduce it, please follow the steps below:

1. Creates a new C# project in WindowsXP.
2. Places a TChart component on a form.
3. Adds a CircularGauge using Chart Editor.
4. Runs the application to ensure the added CircularGauge is displayed.
5. Saves the project and close it.
6. Launces it again. -> Here, the form may not be open and an error may occur.
7. Opens Chart Editor, goes to the Series tab, and changes Palette to ex. "Blue Palette".
8. Close Chart Editor and runs the project. -> Here, CircularGauge disappears (problem1).
9. Saves it again, closes it and launces it again. -> Here, an error occurs. The error message says, "Object reference isn't set to object instance" (Problem2).

As for Problem1, not only changing Palette, but also changing "Value" using Chart Editor, the CircularGauge disappears.

If checking the differences between the first Form1.Designer.cs (without any changes) and the problematic Form1.Designer.cs files (after changing Palette), it seems the Problematic Form1.Designer.cs file is considerably changed from the first Form1.Designer.cs.
After editing the chart using Chart Editor from second time, design-time code may not be output correctly.

I tested these issues with the latest version (v4.1.4014.22041), and most of them were fixed, but not everything yet.

If I open Chart Editor, go to the Series tab, change Palette to ex. "Blue Palette" and run the project, it's displayed as black palette, instead of Blue palette.

Hello Nagai,

I consider the CircularGauge palette problem is different than problems are talked here, that are already fixed. For this reason, I have added a new bug; Here http://bugs.teechart.net/show_bug.cgi?id=689 you have the link to the ticket.

Thanks in advance,
