Having a CircularGauge, you can make the numeric gauge visible, but you get an error as soon as you try to customize its position:
CircularGauge circ1 = new CircularGauge(tChart1.getChart());
circ1.getNumericGauge().setVisible(true);

Not reproducable in this version. .. tested in pre-release build Dec 2013
