I am running your Direct2DDemo. When selecting GDI+ exporting of pictures works fine, but if I select Direct2D the exported picture is just a gray area without any axes and traces. This is problematic, as to export from Direct2D to an image file requires the IWICImagingFactory interface, at least according to this MSDN article here: 
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ee690281(v=vs.85).aspx

unfortunately, the wrapper TeeChart uses for Direct2D, SlimDX, does not support this interface, making the exportation unworkable for the time being.

As a workaround, we suggest that for exportation to image files the GDI+ canvas is used.
