I believe this is already working as expected, but not maybe how you might think it should. Here's an attachment to show you what I mean:

The combobox works when you use the Grid Editor (F2) to edit a cell—as you can see in the screencast, when you hit the enter button with the Grid Editor open then the Grid Editor will close and then move the the cell indicated in the combobox.
