random negative value,screenshot video and sample app

Version 140123 ,Teechart Lite 2014 for RAD XE5 Update 2.
Windows 7,64 bit OS ,application is 32 bit.

In the sample application,on zoom of chart using mouse click and drag (around the x axis value 5 ) . The line(in stair mode) is drawn as negative,even though there are no negative points added to the series.

This doesn't seem to be reproducible with the latest version of the TeeChart source using the test values. We recommend updating the version of TeeChart installed. See image attached.

Hello Marc, the problem appears when the axis values are small,compared to the actual series.
For example i kept the range (-1,1.5) for the values which are almost 4 magnitude higher(62000)
I see in you example the range is set to (-300,200)
Could you please check this again once more.

Hi, I brought the y axis range down (y range -0.04 > 0.045 in this example). The vertical of the step holds up ok.

Is there an updated chart(latest) for the XE5 version. ?
If not, do we have to update to latest C++ builder IDE 10.2 Tokyo version to get the latest chart?

There is no new update of the Lte version for XE5. The latest TeeChart commercial license supports XE5.

I get similar issue wherein the line is not drawn correctly with the latest TChart trial version for VCL downloaded today from Steema.IDE is C++ builder XE5.

If the zoom results as a very small window with respect to the location of the next point, then if the bound of the next point is calculated to greater than the Windows limit (32767x32767 pixel window) then it can cause a visualisation problem. This eventuality has been covered and locked-down for most rendering scenarios in TeeChar6t but we'll look if it's not been covered for a staired line. If that's the case we'll look to fix it for the next update.

Checked with v2017.23.171221 VCL 32 Bit trial version. XE5 update 2.
Windows 10.
This fix does not seem to be working.Screenshot attached.
