The Surface Nearest Tool preview chart isn't shown correct. The problem appears since build 4.1.2015.03114. To reproduce the problem, follow the steps below:
1- Add Chart
2- Add Surface Series 
3- Go to Tools tab and choose Surface Nearest Tool

It occurs with some other tools, so please check the entire tools.

You're right, is necessary review all the Tools Gallery aspect.
