Description sandra pazos 2015-06-29 07:37:05 EDT
Chart starts to flicker, sometimes, in design time.

To reproduce the problem in a easy way you should only follow the steps below:

1.- Creat a new MFC application.
2.- Add Chart.
3.- Double Click with mouse and close editor. Also, you can reproduce it doing Right button->Edit control.

After, in a few minutes the chart starts to flicker. The problem only occurs in the Visual Studio vc++ applications.

Hello,

We got a further info from the user. He could find a workaround to avoid the flicker of TeeChartActiveXControl by doing the following steps:

1. Deletes all of TeeChartActiveXControl from the dialog resource.
2. The flicker doesn't occur with newly added TeeChartActiveXControl.
3. The flicker occurs after editing the properties page of TeeChartActiveXControl, especially 3D settings, in a designer.
4. He can do nothing once the flicker occurs, nothing can help. Even if he sets the settings back, it doesn't help.

So, as a provisional workaround, he set all settings in the function that are invoked during the dialog initialization, instead of setting in the properties page. In this way, he could avoid the flicker for now.

As for the inoperable MFC controls (once the flicker occurs, standard MFC controls can't be operated either), he can't find any workaround yet.

Thank you in advance,

Kindest Regards,
