There could be a property telling the chart to autoplay the animation when it is drawing for the first time, meaning the first draw would already be done by the animation (no flickering at all).

I'd need an example to see the flicker, is it easy to reproduce?

Added a new property AutoPlay (Boolean, default False) to Chart animations.

When True, the animation plays automatically the first time the chart is displayed, and only once.

ChartAnimation1.AutoPlay :=True;

The animation can still be played again as many times as desired, calling the Play method:

ChartAnimation1.Play;


The AutoPlay property has been also added to the animations editor dialog, a new checkbox that should be mostly used at design-time to indicate which animations should be automatically played at runtime.
