Hi, We have a major ASP.Net web application that is used by our pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The appication uses Steema TeeChart ActiveX to show graphs of process data. We have recently upgraded from TeeChart V6 to 2013 version. The upgrade has worked fine for our Windows 7 and Windows XP clients, but we still have some old Windows 2000 clients. We are using IE6 on the Windows 2000 clients

When we try to access the web app from our Windows 2000 clients, Tee Chart crashes with the following message box:

DAX Error
Access violation at address 03393622 in module 'teechart2013.ocx'. Read of address 00000008.

This only happens on Windows 2000. I have tried manually registering (regsvr32)the teechart2013.ocx but still get the same error. I checked to make sure that the old version V6 was not registered but it definitely is not.

I updated the GUID's in our ASP.Net application to reference the new teehart2013 activeX object so there should be no ambiguity in the code.

Hello Dave, 

Sorry for the delay. Please check at the registry that no one of TeeChartX.ocx  still there.  Then try to register the new Teechart Activex ocx version. Does the problem still appear?
If so, does this happens with the examples included into the TeeChart pro activex installer ?
