Using this simple code and substituting HorizBar for Bar:

      tChart1.Aspect.View3D = false;

      for (int i = 0; i < 3; i++)
      {
        CustomBar bar = new HorizBar(tChart1.Chart);
        bar.Marks.Visible = false;
        bar.FillSampleValues(3);
      }

we can see that different bar widths are obtained.
