Created attachment 626 [details] Excel data An Ole error 800A03EC appear in design time when you try to set an excel in data source tab. The steps below reproduce the problem: 1. creates a new project in VB6. 2. places a TChart control on a form. 3. opens Chart Editor. 4. adds a FastLine series. 5. goes to the Series -> Data Source tab. 6. selects "Excel" from the top left listbox. 7. sets the file name and etc. as shown below and clicks the "Apply" button I have attached a simple excel to done the test by reproduce the problem.
