Hello William, <<This bug has completely stumped me, and my upgrading has halted. Do you have any ideas as to what is wrong?>> I would like suggest you use the TChart->Draw() instead of TChart->Repaint() method; in the OnTabsheetShow event or in the TChart or TPanel OnResize events. In the case, that doesn't fix the problem we would be very grateful if you can arrange a simple example and attach it in the bug, because we can reproduce the problem here. Thanks in advance Regards Sandra Pazos |
Created attachment 612 [details] Program at startup TCharts not painted, then TCharts painted by clicking tabsheets I am upgrading my project from BDS2006 and TChart Pro v2010 VCL to RAD Studio XE5 and TChart Pro v2016 VCL (bought a few weeks ago). When my program first appears on the screen, all the components (TEdits, TLabels, TTabsheets, TPanels etc) are painted perfectly EXCEPT my TChart graphs (where the program underneath my program can be viewed (see top figure in AndersonBUG_TChart_NotPainted_ThenPainted.png). If I switch to a different tabsheet and back to the original tabsheet containing the TCharts, the all my TChart graphs then paint perfectly, so they CAN be painted (see bottom figure in AndersonBUG_TChart_NotPainted_ThenPainted.png). Furthermore, if I change the size of the panels beneath the TCharts, then the TCharts disappear again (except for any data plotted). I have tried to repaint my TCharts with TChart->Repaint(); in the OnTabsheetShow event or in the TChart or TPanel OnResize events but this has no effect. This bug has completely stumped me, and my upgrading has halted. Do you have any ideas as to what is wrong? Sincerely, Bill Anderson
