The Tail Marks property isn’t drawn properly when tail Custom property is active. To reproduce the problem, follow the steps below: 

1- Add Chart 
2- Add Series
3- Go to Series -> Marks -> Tail tab and marks the Custom Position

option only applicable to code modified custom points and/or Pie custom points when align is 'auto'. Removed from editor where not easily applicable.
