Description christopher ireland 2016-03-08 06:19:45 EST
Issue2. Renko series:
1. Creates a new project and places a TChart compornent on a form.
2. Opens Chart Editor and adds a Renko series from the Financial tab.
A Volume series is automatically added together with a Renko series. Is it correct?

Hello Chris,

The problem isn't the Volume series. Please see the attached image.
The icon of the Volume series is of BarSeries in Chart Editor.

Thank you in advance,

Kindest Regards,

Hello again, Chris:

Not only the icon in Chart Editor, but also the Series tab is different from the one shown when adding just a Volume series.

Thank you in advance,

Kindest Regards,

This is expected behaviour.

You will notice in the attached image of the documentation that VData is of type Bar. This is to allow any series derived from the Bar series to be used by the client, although the default instance is a Volume series. It is this fact which explains your previous observations.
