To reconstruct this bug, you have to do only the following steps:
- add a new chart to a form
- set legend style to checkboxes
- set legend position to bottom

Then the access violation should occur.

This works fine for me here using our internal sources. Some work has been done in this area recently and it may have fixed the problem so you can expect it being fixed for the next maintenance release.
