The hatching on the point series is not being painted when hatching default color is changed. The problem occurs in GDI and GDI+.

Following below steps to reproduce the problem. 

1.Add a TChart at design time.

2.Right click and select "Edit Chart" to edit the chart.

3.Add a point series without 3D.

4.Expand the Series tree on the left of the editing chart window and select the new series "Series 1"

5.Select the Size sub-tab in the Format Tab (should already be active) and change the size to 25.

6.Select the Pattern sub-tab in the Format Tab.

7.Select the Hatch tab in the Pattern sub-tab in the Format Tab.

8.Chose "Horizontal" to select a horizontal hatching. The hatching is correctly displayed.

9. Change the color of the hatching to red. The hatching disappears.

10.  Click the "Default Color" check box, the hatching returns and the color is reset back to the default.

11.   Change the color again and the hatching disappears.
